In our next post in a two-part series about water heaters, we’d like to shift your attention to the potential for adopting a more modern water heating system – tankless water heating. Tankless water heaters have become more popular in recent years since many people are looking for ways to save money on their utility payments.

Theoretically, tankless water heaters should cost less in the long run for one important reason. The reason is that traditional water heaters with a tank keep a reserve of water heated to a specific temperature even when it’s not being used. This can mean a lot of wasted energy, especially if you’re away from the house for long periods. Tankless water heaters, though, heat the water on demand by sending it through a series of coils. This means that energy is only being used when you need it. There are plenty of other pros and cons when it comes to tankless water heaters, so make sure to do your research!
