RADON TESTING
What It Is and How We Help
What is Radon?
Radon is a radioactive gas that is present in 1 out of every 3 homes*. This dangerous gas can cause lung cancer and is the second-leading cause of the disease.
*according to an EPA test performed in seven U.S. states
HOW DO WE TEST FOR RADON?
At Integrity, we are trained on highly specialized equipment that detects radon in your home. The process takes about 48 hours, as our sensitive, continuous radon monitor equipment must be set up in your home in the optimal locations. Our professional equipment analyzes air samples throughout the testing period.
Your home inspector will then interpret this information into the same easy to read report style that we stand by.
WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT RADON IN MY HOME?
Because Integrity Inspection Service does not actually perform radon removal (called “radon mitigation”), we suggest reaching out to Radon Consultants of East Tennessee.
