It’s really nice to spend time outside. The warm sunshine, the sound of the ocean, the cool breeze – all of it can help to make us happy and healthy. Being inside can be good, too, of course. But there’s a big problem that some people face indoors that can be very dangerous for your health – poor air quality. How can you improve the air you breathe indoors?
Of course, opening your doors and windows or using an air purifier can be helpful to improve the quality of the air in your home, but these things may not be a permanent solution. Instead, try taking a walk around the house to see if you can find things that may be causing the poor air quality, and see what you can do about them. Is mold or mildew growing? Do you have a lot of pets that are shedding dander? Are there heavy smokers in your home? Are heating elements properly ventilated?
