Having a blank wall can make a room feel very empty and unfinished, but even in this case, you don’t want to overfill the wall with pictures, shelves, and mirrors. What you really need is to put something in that space that fits in with the room and it’s colors. So how do you choose?
If your room already has a lot of items and decorations, then you could try just putting a big mirror on the wall, which should work with the space while not feeling crowded. However, if you have very little in that room, then you should try putting up a few shelves on the wall and fill them with a few nice-looking plants or framed photos. Alternatively, you could put some paintings on the wall, but remember to make sure you aren’t cluttering the wall with too many paintings. Especially with art, a few well-chosen pieces always look better than many less suitable paintings.
